In this blog I'm going to make frequent updates on things that are inspiring me to be a better person, and weekly updates of an interview with someone who in my eyes is "Like Unto Moroni".

Small Beginnings

Recently I was reading one of my favorite articles about how
  MEDIA
 can be a
  BLESSING and a CURSE.

When used correctly it can uplift and inspire.  When abused it can degrade and destroy.  It is up to us to choose as to what kind of media we want to be involved with.  Thats when I came up with the idea for this blog.
"We may be a small voice to begin with; nevertheless, let us speak out and encourage a more uplifting, inspiring, and acceptable media."
-M. Russell Ballard
"Let Our Voice Be Heard" M. Russell Ballard

This blog is definitely a small voice to begin with, but a small voice can still be heard.  All great things have to start somewhere.  I believe William Wilberforce described it well in the poem that follows:

Things great have small beginnings.

Every downpour is just a raindrop;
Every fire is just a spark;
Every harvest is just a seed;
Every journey is just a step because
Without that step there will be no journey;
Without that raindrop there can be no shower;
Without that seed there can be no harvest.
-- William Wilberforce

So I have decided to make a post daily on something uplifting, inspiring and acceptable.  And on a weekly basis I will post an interview with someone who, in my eyes is "Like Unto Moroni".  Someone who is to me a prime example of being in the world, but not of the world.

My list of people to interview includes:

- Russell N. Greiner (LDS Institute Director)

-Elder Waddell (Quorum of the 70)

-President Jim Whitesides (Mission President in Japan)

-President Daniel Mendoza Regino (Mission President in Mexico)
and many others!!!
(upon request these interviews can be translated into Spanish)
